Ferrous Facilities

At the 55 acre site at Stockton-on-Tees a full range of processing facilities are available:

• Lindemann Kondirator 2500 hp shredder capable of shredding a mix of light iron No.2 and No.1, 110 tonnes per hour
• Lindemann Lutom 2000mt shear capabale of shearing 6" thick plate 1m wide as well as complete railway wagons
• Lindemann Satom baling press producing 600mm x 600mm bales at a rate of 45 tonnes per hour
• Lindemann Lusic 700 tonne NA shears producing 30 tonnes of short steel per hour up to 2" thick
• RAS baler producing 103 bales per hour, 400 - 600mm square, density 35-45%, 35 seconds per bale
• 2 Sumun mobile car balers producing 150 tonnes per day for clearing car breakers yards
• Rail road with 5 miles of sidings. 1250 tonnes per day loaded to rail or road
• Storage up to 120,000 tonnnes
• 12 skip lorries and 6 artic wagons for collecting and delivering within the North East
• 800 skips to service contracts
